I like the concept, although the detail to the chain ruins the simplicity of the rest of the logo.
May I suggest removing (or simplifying) the chain, and converting the 'O' and 'c' into sprockets?

However, I love the concept. ^_^
So damn clever. I do believe it could work with further changes and editing. Great work J!
like the concept - hate the colours .... but that is on them and not you!
i think the simplifying of the chain would work well.. Looking good so far :)
